From the Architect: Machagua is a holiday break property located on a corner plot following to a wetland and just 100 meters from the beach front. It was conceived as a substantial, sculpted coral stone that responds to the requires of the temporary and the surroundings. The major volume runs from north to south with a split in the center for the primary entrance of the house. Towards the south lies the public method: living home, dining home, kitchen, and company amenities. This space opens up to the key courtyard to the west and a terrace with an outdoor barbecue and dining location. In the direction of the east, the home is shut off to the road. A huge cement slab crosses the ceiling of residing and dining rooms, from which substantial wood beams dangle down, incorporating the major lighting. About this slab is a 2nd terrace for relaxing and sunbathing. The bedrooms face north and extend by a big yard divided into two zones: a tough zone with crushed shells and timber railroad ties, and a  eco-friendly zone that adjoins the wetland. Over the sound stone and bedrooms there is a 2nd, smaller quantity, which is extra rustic in character. Totally clad in oak, it homes the key bedroom and non-public terrace. More than this volume there is a third terrace with a 360-degree look at about the sea and a grill on a significant oak counter with a black stone surface. A big outdoor staircase connects the a few terraces, escalating the outside house.”
