For her modern collaboration with Crate and Barrel Athena embraced the concept throughout the selection: in the A Coste glassware, the Pompeii pedestal, the Cannelée vase collection, mugs, and linen lamp shades. It all started out in the fluted portal entry of her Brooklyn rest room, a space in her residence that supplied small utility—or as most designers might see it, an possibility to make an spot as impactful as feasible. “On my master flooring, architecture knowledgeable the place,” Athena describes in her e-book Stay Stunning. “Grand double doorways led to the grasp bathroom, boasting an outdated-environment fashion bathtub, plaster walls, and a marble hearth, but the hallway in amongst served no objective,” she proceeds.

I wrapped fluted plaster up the walls and over the ceiling…,” she states. Athena brought in Kamp Studios to deliver her eyesight to life and the search has soared in recognition ever considering that (not to point out cemented their position as the leader in the aged-world plaster system).
