Built by Seattle- and Brooklyn-based Females & Gentlemen Studio, the Myrna lighting collection brings a new sort to outline personal areas and increase warmth and dimension via light-weight. The collection arrived about via a collaborative fee with designer Giancarlo Valle, who experienced a uncomplicated yet elaborate request: “Challenge the regular chandelier archetype though defining the eating space of his open up loft property.”
Myrna’s important element is its wide shade, which was motivated by actress Myrna Loy’s signature floppy hats. L&G recreated the shape by including a slight bend to the material at hand, whether or not it’d be perforated aluminum, brass, stainless steel, or the studio’s new bent glass which has a distinctive, translucent materiality that appears almost stone-like. The tinted glass world provides heat, inviting readers into the cozy, softly illuminated house.
The Myrna assortment is on watch at the Radnor showroom in Brooklyn, New York and is readily available as a pendant, sconce, ceiling mount, and wall mobile in a wide range of supplies.
