A week on Ohau | Justina Blakeney

Check out from the Waimea Falls Park & Botanical Gardens

I just bought back again from a trip on Oahu with spouse and children. We put in the week on the seashores on  the North Shore, hiking up wild hills, feeding on from foods trucks, enjoying game titles and decompressing. We even tried out browsing for the initial time.  It was a really mellow trip and excellent to reconnect with nature and spend some high-quality time with people today that I appreciate. Beneath, some snaps from our walks by means of the Waimea Falls Park & Botanical Gardens and a lengthy hike we took.

I am a *really* gradual hiker, and although I hike I appreciate creating frequent stops to take photos, and go “foraging” for hues, shapes and styles that encourage my style and design get the job done. (You can understand additional about my ‘foraging’ practice in my ‘Jungalow: Adorn Wild’ e-book 🙂

On this hike, I gathered some fallen foliage and issues. When I obtained back again to the resort, I established a few collages that emphasize the various colors, styles, styles and textures. The polka-dotted leaves are my favourite! They are spores on the leaves, which are reproductive buildings (kind of like seeds).

Of class, I experienced to #facethefoliage when I was at it…

I hope these photographs provide a little bit of joy and inspiration to your day. With really like,
